My youngest went to college, I miss her so much butits life and i must let her go.

As crazy as it is that we have to go through this as moms- it’s a time in our lives full of pride. We raised them and shaped them into that functioning adult that stands before us. I have a 19 year old that I raised as single mom, she was literally my everything. My every driving force to succeed in my own life. I had to do it all for her, when she was little she didn’t understand and why or how. Now, at 19 she decided to work full time has been promoted twice, moved out, she’s in a happy serious relationship- she’s so happy, thriving and responsible (especially considering she’s still so young). And honestly, I feel the most appreciated that I have ever felt. They go through these phases where they love us- but they don’t understand it fully because they are young, maybe they fight back against our rules and morals, snub us at times, are too cool for us. She finally understands, is kind and appreciative toward me and others, wrote off those bad friends that were bad for her. She’s successful and she’s doing life. There will be ups and downs just like we all had- but I’m so proud of her and will always be here as her mom, a friend and support system. I see her often and we have a blast- talking and laughing. I’ll always miss that super goofy, sweet, sassy baby girl but this butterfly that emerged is such a well rounded product of everything we lived together, everything she saw in me and everything she has been through thus far. It’s amazing to see. Just live in each season and moment to the best of your ability. Make memories, take pics and videos. And even when you are so tired and don’t want to go to the park or play out in the freezing cold rain- just do it. If only for a little bit. Try to stay positive. That’s helped me, looking back. I look forward to what our future holds despite also always missing that adorable, hilarious little baby girl. ❤

Cherish every moment, and when they do something irritating and you are at your wits end, breathe and remember that you never get these moments back, life for Mom's can be so overwhelming but when you see what they accomplish with your guidance and when they walk across the stage or down the aisle, it's all worth it, but stay present...in the moment ❤

I watch the toy story where andy goes to college with my toddler. I was not okay. 😢

I found you by your HK apartment tours, stayed for the PCT, and am so sad that you these pregnancy/post partum vlogs don’t have many views. You’re so down to earth! I had a C-section in December 2020, and had nothing but complications. I had gestational diabetes, and then after my C-section I developed post partum preeclampsia. The medicine they gave to treat it plus one stool softener gave me explosive diarrhea the whole night. Then my incision became infected, and I had to have 2 surgeries to fix it and I needed to have a wound vac for 2 months. All while my husband was abroad. Thank you for normalizing all the weird pregnancy things!
